Manifestos for Queer Futures
Hebbel am Ufer (Berlin)
22 June 2019

The Morning After Love is a cinepoem/performance by okcandice presented at Hebbel Am Ufer theatre for Manifestos For Queer Fetures as part of the festival The Present Is Not Enough – Performing Queer Histories and Futures.

As part of the festival, HAU initiated an open call for artists based in Berlin, who were invited to submit proposals for the Manifestos for Queer Futures. The spectrum of projects covers a wide range, from works with cultural and socio-political references, active examinations of the past, to visions of a possible future.

The Morning After Love is a cinepoem about two Black, queer lovers querying whether or not there is true love after lust.
